The CMM Institute is sponsoring its seventh annual Learning Exchange as part of its role as a connector and cultivator of people and communities who are striving to make better social worlds. We invite practitioners, researchers and learners to come together to share our experiences with using CMM to make better social worlds and to advance our collective understanding of what is possible through CMM.

Over the years we have addressed the theme of community building in various ways. As part of this we have consciously been fostering the development of a CMM learning community/ies of practice. Our greatest hope is that this Learning Exchange provides an opportunity for us to develop an even stronger sense of community and mutual learning as we develop our community/ies further. How we can do this will be a central theme of the Learning Exchange and we invite you all to offer your insights, creative ideas and expanded knowledge on how we can cultivate CMM in our personal, professional and community lives.

We will also be showcasing our two new 2018 CMMI Fellows, who will discuss their projects on Global Social Witnessing and Global Action Networks. Both of these projects constructively address the divisions in our increasingly fractionated global society and offer insights into ways of understanding our global communities. In addition, we shall have offerings from our AC4-CMMI graduate fellows and other members of our CMM community. Please join us in building on this community.
