Beth Fisher-Yoshida (PhD, CCS) is a facilitator, educator, and executive coach. She is President and CEO of Fisher Yoshida International, LLC, with clients including global organizations in Fortune 100, non-profit and government sectors, military and security forces, communities, school districts and academic institutions. Beth is Professor of Professional Practice, Program Director of the MS in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program, Vice-Chair of Faculty at School of Professional Studies, Chair of Advanced Consortium for Cooperation, Conflict and Complexity (AC4) and Director of the Youth, Peace and Security Project all at Columbia University. She also serves on several Boards including the CMM Institute for Personal and Social Evolution (CMMI).

Dr. Fisher-Yoshida takes a systemic and narrative approach to working on complex issues with multiple stakeholders on negotiation and social transformation processes. She’s published many articles, chapters, and has authored and edited books. Her main areas of expertise involve negotiation, conflict resolution and collaborative processes, intercultural communication, narrative, PAR, transformative learning and CMM. Her research interests are the intersection of women, negotiation and socially constructed narratives that govern behavior. Dr. Fisher-Yoshida received her Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems and MA in Organization Development from Fielding Graduate University and is a Certified Clinical Sociologist (CCS).
